Take it as the end of a Slea Head day, then drink it again in Dick Mack's.
Dingle Distillery started in 2012 in a converted sawmill at the edge of town and has grown into one of the genuinely good new independents. The single malt is not a novelty, and the small batch releases sell out locally before they travel.
The tour is small, which is the point. You stand near the stills rather than behind a rail, and the person talking usually made the thing you are drinking.
The reason it fits an itinerary is the geography. Slea Head Drive in the morning, the harbour town in the afternoon, the distillery before dinner, then Dick Mack's, a former cobbler's shop with a whiskey cabinet where the shoe leather used to be.

- Yes if you are already on the peninsula. The single malt is genuinely good and the tour is small enough to feel personal. It is not a reason on its own to drive to Kerry.
