The K Club after the rain

The Liffey course in the half-hour the sun comes back.

The light frequently returns to The K Club's Liffey course in the half-hour after a Kildare rain shower. The air then carries the scent of wet grass, and the fairways hold a hushed stillness. We often find the clubhouse bar deserted during this interval, offering a rare moment of quiet before the evening activity begins.

When you visit, our recommendation is a stay in the main house for your initial trip, preferring it to the lodges. Dinner in the River Room is a necessity. For those who appreciate the grounds, a twilight stroll around the third hole provides a peaceful perspective on the estate.

The estate is thirty minutes from Dublin airport. Make arrangements to use this proximity wisely.
