Cashel Palace, the first morning

Breakfast under the Rock, before anyone else is up.

Collected by Deborah. Read her editorial perspective

Our first morning at Cashel Palace began with a gentle awakening, a true luxury. Sunlight filtered into the bishop's room, framing the Rock of Cashel in the distance as we started the day’s rituals. This unhurried start exemplifies the meticulous reconstruction of the house, where every detail feels like an intentional choice.

Cashel Palace, the first morning

We began with warm porridge, then a second cup of coffee, and lingered in the quiet. There was no need to rush into the day’s plans before ten o'clock, allowing the morning to unfold at its own pace. This tranquil moment, before our daily agenda truly began, set a calm tone for what was to come.

Cashel Palace is currently the most striking hotel arrival in Ireland. The house itself commands an impressive presence.
