We find ourselves frequently at Pichet on Trinity Street, especially when a Dublin afternoon clouds over. It is an established bistro, one that has seen many seasons and maintains its identity without fuss. This room is precisely where you want to be on a Tuesday when the city becomes slick with rain.

A table inside offers warmth and good cheer. We consistently choose the prix fixe, accompanied by a glass of their house red, a reliable pairing. Afterward, a short walk to Trinity College always feels appropriate, the rain usually having lessened to a soft mist.
