Easter in Galway signals the city's reawakening after its winter quiet. By midday, a palpable energy fills the Latin Quarter's narrow lanes. We find ourselves drawn to the Salthill promenade, the city's most invigorating coastal path.

Our preferred stays remain the G or Glenlo Abbey; both offer the refined comfort we expect. We recommend a progression for dining: an initial evening at Loam, followed by Aniar, and finally, a meal at Ard Bia, for a comprehensive culinary experience.

Three nights feels like the proper duration before we set off on day four for a drive through Connemara.
